Dalagang Pilipina

Depicting various people in our national costumes, reminiscent of our colorful history. This is to evoke a sense of nostalgia and national pride. This concept depicts a "di-makabasag pinggan" (extremely refined composure) maiden in a portrait covering half her face. It's an innocent pose actually hiding a secret message through the "language of fans". We want to forge a charismatic and mysterious vibe through the woman's gaze while also representing old tradition.

This mural is made possible by a grant from Pacific Paint (BOYSEN) Phils, Inc. who supports our public art theme: "Rolling Out a Better World"
