Curated by National Artist for Music, Maestro Ryan Cayabyab,
Noel Ferrer, Moy Ortiz, and Maria Isabel Garcia

ABOUT BGC PPM 2026

Pinoy Playlist Musikahan (PPM) will have especially curated live musical sessions that are largely participatory and open-ended. Before the main event, On Cue, an online live music and storytelling series where artists Geca Morales, vydd, and Gab Cabangon from Organisasyon ng mga Pilipinong Mang-aawit perform their songs and share their personal stories and experiences in music-making with a twist of a popular Pinoy game, Tumbang Preso. Special artist performances where artists share what their songs mean to them, "One Day Choir" where strangers get to be part of a harmonized group, "fan-curated playlists” in a "Community Karaoke" where the audience gets to vote on which songs they want artists to perform, "Modern Harana” where you can pick an Artist to serenade special person/people, as well as creative mixes or how music serves as inspiration to other forms of art and human endeavors. We will also have a "Salinawit” interactive lecture where we can breathe new life to foreign songs as translated to our native languages. The "Music-Making Zone" at the amphitheater, is where attendees can unleash their creativity through various family-friendly interactive music experiences.

PPM 2026 on October 17 and 18 will be about transforming the role of “audiences” into various Pinoy configurations of what is “family”, “friends” and “community” actively participating in music-making in a celebration like no other!
