This sculpture, the first of its kind in the country to be rendered in synthetic bronze, shows Philippine national hero Andres Bonifacio riding a horse. Bonifacio’s powerful pose and the proud stance of his horse represent a forward march, which reflects the purposeful energy of its location in Uptown Bonifacio. A vibrant township development, Uptown Bonifacio embodies growth, progress and momentum. The sculpture mirrors the dynamism of the township, an exhortation to keep looking—and moving—forward.
