ABOUT
The wall features endangered species native to the Philippines, such as the tamaraw, Philippine Eagle, Palawan Peacock-Pheasant, and more. The feet across the length of the wall are symbolic of our own impact that we leave on our environments. Big or small, good or bad, collectively, our choices are what determines the state of our ecosystems and the impact that our future generations will endure. The vault room will feature bees pollinating flowers - highlighting the important role they play in our ecosystem. The star on the steps is the waling waling orchid endemic to the Philippines. The control panel area will feature a healthy underwater scene, featuring endangered animals that need to be protected.
This mural is made possible by a grant from Pacific Paint (BOYSEN) Phils, Inc. who supports our public art theme: "Rolling Out a Better World"
